City woman charged with attempted trespassing, other charges

Emily Ann Fink, 37, of 1063 Hepburn St., has been charged with criminal attempted trespassing and other charges after she allegedly removed a surveillance camera from a residence in the 1100 block of Hepburn Street on May 27, 2026, city police said in an affidavit.

Fink was allegedly standing in the street in front of the residence, pool skimmer in hand, when police arrived around 11:30 p.m.

Fink allegedly exhibited signs of paranoia and being under the influence of a controlled substance, repeatedly picking at her lips and looking over shoulder as if someone was behind her.

Fink insisted that she could hear her boyfriend screaming from within the residence, though the screaming was not observed by police at the scene. Fink was neither inside or a resident of the property police said in an affidavit.

Officers determined that the resident did not know Fink.

Doorbell camera footage allegedly captured Fink ringing the doorbell and pounding on the front door before going to the South side of the residence and kicking open the door.

She then returned to the front door, climbed onto the porch railing and removed the camera from the wall, an affidavit said.

The camera was allegedly located in Fink’s left pocket during a consensual search, and damage to the south-facing door was estimated at $1,200.

Fink was arraigned on charges of criminal attempted trespassing, criminal mischief, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, loitering and prowling at night and public drunkenness by District Judge Aaron Biichle, and jailed at the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Cogan Station man charged with defiant trespass

Kenneth Lee Williamson, 61, of 2525 Oak St., Cogan Station, has been charged with defiant trespass after he visited a grocery store in the 200 block of William Street in the city on Feb. 25, 2026, just five days after he had been told by employees not to return to the store, city police said in an affidavit.

Williamson related that he likes to watch television in the store’s cafe area, and acknowledged that he had been trespassed from the premises “five years ago,” according to court documents.

Just shy of two three months later, Williamson was charged with defiant trespass and disorderly conduct after he allegedly refused to leave a business in the 600 block of Hepburn St., and subsequently defecated on the floor.

Williamson denied being told to leave as well as defecating in the business, however the reporting party told police she had surveillance video of the act.

Williamson was arraigned on the charges by District Judge Aaron Biichle, and remanded to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $2,500.

City man accused of strangulation

A city man faces several charges after he allegedly physically assaulted a female alleged victim at his residence on May 30, 2026.

During a dispute with the alleged victim, Derrick R. Friday, 46, of 311 Center St., allegedly placed his hands around her neck, causing her to be unable to breath and pushing her up against a wall, a city police affidavit said.

“You’re gonna die. I’m going to kill you,” Friday allegedly said to the female.

The alleged victim was able to free herself of Friday’s grasp and fled to a bathroom, exiting through a window when Friday began attempting to enter, court documents said.

Police observed redness around the alleged victim’s neck, abrasions to both elbows and her nose.

Friday was arraigned on charges of strangulation, simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment by District Judge Aaron Biichle and jailed at the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail.

Surveillance video viewed by police allegedly shows Murray walking the alcohol aisle with two juveniles before one of them places the margarita mix into Murray’s backpack and the three leave the store.

Murray was arraigned on charges of corruption of minors, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, retail theft and illegal possession of liquor or malt or brewed beverages by District Judge Denise Dieter, and jailed at the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Cohick, who had the odor of alcohol on her breath, denied any physical contact had taken place, an affidavit said.

Two witnesses corroborated the alleged victim’s account, and bruising on her back and face was observed by responding officers.

Cohick was arraigned by District Judge William Solomon, and jailed at the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
