Mill Hall woman allegedly passed counterfeit bills

Lycoming Regional Police have levied several charges against a Mill Hall woman after she allegedly passed a counterfeit bill at Joe’s Kwik Mart, 101 Bridge Street, Jersey Shore, on May 6, 2025, court filings said.

Jody Lynn Geyer, 54, of Mill hall allegedly used a counterfeit $100 bill to pay for gas, cigarettes and a soft drink, the manager of the convenience store told police, producing a photo of Geyer from the time of the incident.

At the time of the report, Geyer was in state police custody. Questioned by authorities, Geyer allegedly admitted to using the phony money at Joe’s Kwik Mart and other locations.

Geyer was arraigned on charges of forgery, trademark counterfeiting, theft by unlawful taking and theft by deception by District Judge Denise Dieter, and released on $20,000 bail.
