John D. Gentry, 50, of 867 Snaurytown Road, Montgomery, will face further court action after waiving his preliminary hearing before District Judge Kirsten Gardner on burglary-related charges that stem from a 2023 break-in at a Clinton Township business, according to state police. It is alleged that Gentry broke into Hinston's Salvage and Removal at 121 Route 54 in mid-July three years ago. Police allege Gentry also allegedly stole a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck from the property. He faces felony charges of burglary, theft, receiving stolen property and criminal trespassing plus two misdemeanors, criminal mischief theft (for allegedly taking $100 in cash from the building). Initially jailed in lieu of $15,000 bail, Gentry is now free on 10 percent of that amount.
