Jessica A. Cohick, 45, of 1230 Spring Creek Road, Montgomery, has been charged with simple assault after she allegedly assaulted an alleged victim with a “fire stick” on May 20, 2026, state police said in court filings.

Cohick, who had the odor of alcohol on her breath, denied any physical contact had taken place, an affidavit said.

Two witnesses corroborated the alleged victim’s account, and bruising on her back and face was observed by responding officers.

Cohick was arraigned by District Judge William Solomon, and jailed at the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
