Three hurt in Anthony Twp crash

HOLMES/Sun-Gazette A man driving this Subaru Outback along with his two passengers all suffered injuries and were taken by ambulances to UPMC Williamsport for medical treatment after the car struck a utility pole, nearly cutting the car in two, on Route 973, just west of Daughertys Run Road, in Anthony Township, about 2:30 p.m. Sunday, according to emergency responders. Besides state police, firefighters from Woodward Township and Jersey Shore responded. After hitting the pole, the car traveled about 20 yards, landing in a field.
