City woman charged with attempted trespassing, other charges
Emily Ann Fink, 37, of 1063 Hepburn St., has been charged with criminal attempted trespassing and other charges after she allegedly removed a surveillance camera from a residence in the 1100 block of Hepburn Street on May 27, 2026, Williamsport police said in an affidavit.
Fink was allegedly standing in the street in front of the residence, pool skimmer in hand, when police arrived around 11:30 p.m.
Fink allegedly exhibited signs of paranoia and being under the influence of a controlled substance, repeatedly picking at her lips and looking over shoulder as if someone was behind her.
Fink insisted that she could hear her boyfriend screaming from within the residence, though the screaming was not observed by police at the scene. Fink was neither inside or a resident of the property police said in an affidavit.
Officers determined that the resident did not know Fink.
Doorbell camera footage allegedly captured Fink ringing the doorbell and pounding on the front door before going to the South side of the residence and kicking open the door.
She then returned to the front door, climbed onto the porch railing and removed the camera from the wall, an affidavit said.
The camera was allegedly located in Fink’s left pocket during a consensual search, and damage to the south-facing door was estimated at $1,200.
Fink was arraigned on charges of criminal attempted trespassing, criminal mischief, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, loitering and prowling at night and public drunkenness by District Judge Aaron Biichle, and jailed at the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
