Brandon Hernandez, of New York Mills, Minnesota, has been arrested and brought to Lycoming County to face multiple felony charges for allegedly sending lewd photos of himself to a female minor in Penn Township after the two met online in late July of last year, according to state police at the Montoursville barracks. The relationship lasted only about two days, ending after the girl's mother learned of it and called police.

Hernandez told the girl he was 13 when in fact he was 30 at the time, police. The minor passed herself off as 12, but she was actually younger, police said. Hernandez asked the girl if she wanted to be his girlfriend, it was stated in an affidavit.

It is alleged that Hernandez sent the juvenile several inappropriate text messages that were sexual in nature, including "Have you ever had sex?" and "I was hoping we would do some naughty stuff, but I think you're scared," it was stated in the affidavit. In another text to the minor, Hernandez wrote "There is nothing I wouldn't do if you were here with me. I would be all over you." The girl sent Hernandez "multiple images of herself," including at least one with her in a "nude state," police said in the affidavit.

Investigators tracked Hernandez to his apartment, where they executed a search warrant and seized two cellphones, one of which contained the girl's cellphone number, police said. Hernandez was arraigned late Sunday afternoon before District Judge Christian Frey on charges of unlawful contact with a minor – open lewdness; unlawful contact with minor – for sending lewd pictures of himself to the girl and "inquiring about having sex with her;" unlawful contact with a minor – sexual offenses; inappropriate possession of photographic material for persuading the minor to send him a photo of her private parts; corrupting the morals of a minor, criminal solicitation and illegal use of a communication device. Hernandez was placed automatically in the Lycoming County Prison after the judge denied him bail.
