A Montoursville man faces charges of simple assault and harassment after he allegedly became physical during a verbal altercation with an alleged victim in the 1200 block of Butternut Grove Road in Gamble Township on June 20, 2026, state police said in court documents.

The alleged victim told police that she and Daniel Jacob Bonds, 28, of 1253 Butternut Grove Road, Montoursville, had been arguing throughout the day, and at one point, Bonds struck her in the back of the head multiple times, causing her to temporary blindness and dizziness.

Additionally, the alleged victim reported vomiting and feeling nauseous following the alleged attack, court filings said.

Bonds was arraigned on the charges by District Judge Denise Dieter, and remanded to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $30,000.
