Tractor trailer, SUV crash temporarily closes Allegheny Street in Jersey Shore

Fire crews were on the scene of a two vehicle accident in the 1200 block of Allegheny Street in Jersey Shore late Tuesday night.
The call came in shortly before 10:30 p.m. when a GMC Yukon and a tractor trailer collided, bringing a pole down on the tractor trailer, two vehicles and across both lanes of traffic, according to scanner reports.
No one was injured in the crash, according to emergency dispatch, however it was initially reported that the driver of the Yukon fled on foot.
As of midnight Wednesday, Allegheny Street remains temporarily shut down in the area of Oliver Street as PPL and emergency crews work to clear the scene.
