Williamsport man accused of driving on a suspended license
Daniel Jacob Summers, 47, of 1219 Park Ave., has been charged with driving on a suspended license, following a traffic stop in the 2100 block of Lycoming Creek Road in Old Lycoming Township on May 29, 2026, a Lycoming Regional police affidavit said.
As Summers’ 2005 Toyota Corolla passed an officer, he ran a check the registration of the vehicle, which returned a DUI-related license suspension for the registered owner.
Summers allegedly related that he was supposed to be receiving his interlock limited license soon, but had not completed the required paperwork through PennDOT, and stated he had already had the system installed in his other vehicle, court documents said.
Summers has three previous convictions for DUI-related driving under suspension, police noted in the affidavit.
Summers was arraigned by District Judge William Solomon.
