Nine people have recently been charged with various drug offenses, according to court records. Those charged were:
Niheem Freeman, 29, of 2331 Dove St.; the county's Narcotics Enforcement Unit; felony charges of delivery of marijuana and illegal use of a communication device for his alleged involvement in city drug sales in the 1600 block of Huffman Street as well as the 300 block of Memorial Avenue and the 2300 block of West Fourth Street between June 24 and Aug. 11; initially jailed, but now free on $25,000 bail.
Casey Michael Stidfole, 35, 517 Pepper St., Muncy; borough police; possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia on East Water Street in the borough on Aug. 22; jailed in lieu of $2,500 bail.
Briana Branch-Rivers, 31, of 627 Second St.; state police; possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 300 block of Market Street in the city on July 3;
Seth Allen Fredericks, 36, of 2298 Kenwood Ave.; city police; possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia at the Susquehanna State Park on June 27; released on $10,000 bail.
Nicole Marie Ellis, 49, of Wilkes-Barre; state police; possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 600 block of Cemetery Street in the city on June 4; released on $10,000 bail.
Roosevelt Edward Short III, 26, 1223 Isabella St.; state police; possession of methamphetamine and psilocybin mushrooms, possession of drug paraphernalia in the 600 block of West Fourth Street in the city on May 19; released on $10,000 bail.
Kayla Jo Lynch, 38, of 269 Broad St., Montoursville; two sets of state police charges; first set – possession of methamphetamines, possession of marijuana and two other controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia in the 500 block of South Main Street in Muncy on Feb. 27; released on $5,000 bail; second set – possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest in the 1600 block of High Street in the city on June 2; released on $5,000 bail on these charges as well; she was charged last year after numerous controlled substances were found in her home when detectives with the county's NEU executed a search warrant on the property on Dec. 4.
Bruce Akeem White, 36, of 2833 W. Fourth St.; two sets of city police charges of possession of PCP (the hallucinogenic drug phencyclidine), possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness; one incident occurred in the 100 block of Maynard Street on Sept. 12 and at Campbell and Grace streets on July 31; released on $5,000 bail in each case.
David A. Cory, 39, of 225. N. Main St., Apt. 1, Jersey Shore; state police; possession with intent to deliver and criminal use of a communication facility for the alleged sale of 3.59 grams of methamphetamine to a confidential informant at Cherry Alley and N. Main Street in Jersey Shore on Oct. 20; released on $35,000 bail.
