Larson Design Group, an award-winning, employee-owned national architecture, engineering and consulting firm, recently announced that Craig Baker was awarded a 2022 Distinguished Service Award from the Pennsylvania Society of Land Surveyors at the organization's annual conference.

According to a news release, the award is given to those who have provided an exceptional contribution or service to the surveying profession.

A prestigious statewide professional organization, the society has been supporting, improving and enhancing the profession of land surveying and its members since 1969, according to the news release.

"I'm humbled to be recognized by my colleagues and to be included among the ranks of dedicated professionals who have received the Distinguished Service Award," Baker said, according to the news release.

Baker is a senior project surveyor and project engineer in Larson Design Group's geospatial practice area, serving energy, land development and industrial clients, as well as numerous public sector entities. Prior to joining LDG through a corporate merger in 2015, Baker served as president of Daniel C. Baker Associates Inc.

"I have had the privilege of working with Craig for several years, and his knowledge and experiences related to all things survey, combined with his dedication to customer service, never cease to amaze me," said Gary Sheets, vice president of infrastructure at Larson Design Group, according to the news release.
