The Lycoming County USDA Service Center will host an "Open House" from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., April 28. The event will be held at the USDA Service Center, 542 County Farm Road, in the first-floor conference room.
According to a news release, the event will provide an opportunity to learn more about the various levels of assistance available from local, state and federal organizations that can be utilized by agricultural producers. Exhibits with associated informational packets highlighting various agricultural programs will be on display.
"It is an excellent opportunity to evaluate the various levels of service available for agricultural operations to determine which programs can provide benefits for specific situations," the news release said.
