Little League International recently announced naming Kelsey Baysore as its retail e-commerce and technology specialist.
According to a news release, Baysore previously served as a retail marketing and e-commerce associate since 2016.
"Kelsey's initiative to continue to learn and make customer-friendly improvements within the department has elevated the Little League retail team's ability to serve our volunteers and fans," said Christa DeAngelo, Little League Retail general manager, according to the news release. "She takes great pride in her work and has earned this promotion through hard work and attention to detail. I am proud of her accomplishments and grateful to work with her."
During her time working with the Little League retail marketing team, Baysore has helped bring new concepts and ideas to the e-commerce efforts of the organization, worked to enhance and develop the relaunch of the Little League Store's website, organized the email and social media marketing concepts for retail operations and more, the news release said.
"I am very excited for the opportunities this new role will provide me," said Baysore. "I look forward to using the knowledge and experience I've gained working here to further grow the Little League community through various technology advancements."
In this role, Baysore will help drive the functional implementation of retail technologies to create a "flawless customer experience, including managing all aspects of the e-commerce and point-of-sales technology and leading the growth and development of the e-commerce business," the news release said.
A 2015 graduate of Lycoming College with a bachelor's degree in sociology and anthropology, Baysore also served as an assistant manager of operations for ULTA Beauty from 2011-16 before joining the Little League team.
