Susquehanna Community Bank adds Pajama Factory to list of local partnerships

Susquehanna Community Bank and the Pajama Factory recently announced a financial partnership to support the Pajama Factory's future growth plan, according to a news release.
"We are proud to invest in community building projects like City Hall Grand Hotel, John Ryan Brewery and now the Pajama Factory -- all of which have involved repurposing old buildings or properties," Michael Loeh, Susquehanna Community Bank vice president and commercial relationship manager, said, according to the news release. "When we can help support revitalization projects in town, we are all winners."
"We have seen tremendous growth of the Pajama Factory since we first started discussions over six years ago and we are convinced this growth will continue exponentially as additional work is put into the building," Rexford Hilton, Susquehanna Community Bank commercial relationship manager, said, according to the news release. "We are excited to see how the factory will continue to evolve."
Susquehanna Community Bank, the news release noted, has been around for over 100 years, ranking today as one of the top 200 banks in the nation for the 12th consecutive year. The bank also finished in the top 25% of Pennsylvania banks for 2012-2022 according to a leading bank performance report evaluating eight different criteria.
"Part of the bank's growth has been driven by their commitment to understanding the needs of the local community," the news release said. "As such, supporting businesses that can bring vitality and economic growth to particular areas in towns and cities has been a key focus for their success throughout the years."
"The financial support provided by the bank will allow us to kick-start some of the work we have hoped to initiate for a long while -- including the parking lot updates -- which have just kicked off -- and will most certainly improve curb appeal for the building," said Mark Winkelman, co-owner of the Pajama Factory, according to the news release. "We are so grateful to the partnership with the bank and have every intention of making them proud of their financial support behind this project. We have been seeking this kind of support for years and unfortunately other banks have been reluctant to get involved. … While others saw roadblocks, Susquehanna Community Bank embraced our vision."
