The Williamsport Home recently announced the appointment of Jen Cisneros, RN, as executive director, effective May 2024.
According to a news release, Cisneros replaces longtime Executive Director Don Pote, who has retired following 23 years of service at the Loyalsock Township continuing care retirement community.
"I am excited to move into this position, and I look forward to building upon the legacy of exceptional care and service that Don and the team have established," Cisneros said, according to the news release.
Cisneros most recently served as The Williamsport Home's nursing home administrator, where she led day-to-day operations and provided strategic leadership to clinical, managerial, and support teams. Under her leadership, The Williamsport Home implemented improved financial processes, increased quality measures, and implemented an effective grievance program.
In 2019, Cisneros was the recipient of McKnight's Senior Living's Rising Star Award. Cisneros earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from Wilkes University, and a bachelor's degree in health care administration from the University of Phoenix. She is a Registered Nurse, a licensed nursing home administrator, a licensed Personal care home administrator, and a certified dementia practitioner.
The Williamsport Home, the news release said, offers distinctive levels of care including independent living apartments, skilled nursing care, short-term rehabilitation, personal care, a secured memory care unit and end-of-life suites/comfort care services focused on respecting the dignity and unique needs of every individual.
