Lunch to discuss opportunities in outdoors recreation field
The Pennsylvania Economy League will host lunch, networking and discussion on leveraging the power of the great outdoors to boost local economies at noon, June 4 at the Jane Schultz Room, Wertz Student Center, Lycoming College.
“Whether you’re a small business owner, outdoor enthusiast, or community leader, this event is your chance to learn from industry experts, connect with like-minded individuals, and discover innovative strategies to capitalize on the recreation economy,” a news release said.
The panel includes Silas Chamberlin, Ph.D., Firefly Outdoor + Economics, Principal, and York County Economic Alliance, Chief Strategy Officer and Vice President, Economic and Community Development; Ta Enos, PA Wilds Center for Entrepreneurship, Founder and CEO; Katie Caputo Noll, ROAMbler.com, President and moderator Vinny Cannizzaro, Ph.D., Pennsylvania Economy League, Executive Director
The program is open to the public and includes lunch. Tickets are available at Eventbrite or www.pelcentral.org. Walk ins are available by cash or check.
For almost 90 years, PEL has provided fact-based insight through its Civic Leadership Education events to inform government officials, business leaders and the general community on key public policy issues and serve as a catalyst for change, the news release said. PEL is a non-profit, non-partisan statewide organization.
