Williamsport man wins achievement award

Quinn McMahon, of Williamsport, was presented with the 2025 UniqueSource Achievement Award during a formal ceremony and banquet held at the Hershey Lodge & Convention Center.

Honored for his outstanding work as a Shredder Operator at North Central Sight Services Inc., McMahon "embraces challenges with determination, continuously striving for personal and professional excellence," a news release said. "Because of his job through UniqueSource contracts, Quinn has found consistent encouragement and mentorship from colleagues have helped him build his confidence, refine his skills, and strengthen his social connections. This supportive environment has also contributed to his financial stability and overall well-being."

The UniqueSource Achievement Awards recognizes outstanding employees from UniqueSource's network of employers who demonstrate exceptional character overcoming obstacles while working with a disability. For 2025, UniqueSource celebrated 38 individuals for their outstanding work accomplishments and for their example of determination, passion, and success.

"We are thankful for the 38 awardees who we celebrate tonight," said Lisa Biggica, president and CEO of UniqueSource, according to the news release. "They are great representatives of the more than 2,200 employees across Pennsylvania who work on UniqueSource contracts."

UniqueSource Products & Services partners with member organizations across the state to identify, market and deliver products and services that create employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. There are over 2,200 Pennsylvanians with disabilities who benefit from greater economic independence, self-reliance and an enhanced quality of life through work.
