‘Realtor of the Year’ named

The West Branch Valley Association of Realtors presented Betty Steinbacher with the 2025 Realtor of the Year award at the group’s annual membership meeting held on October 23rd in South Williamsport, a news release said.
Steinbacher is a graduate of Lycoming College and went on to obtain her master’s degree in science and biology at Bucknell University. She was a public school teacher at Loyalsock for eight years, teaching both third grade and high school biology and physiology.
“She carried her love for teaching into her real estate career, teaching pre-licensing and continuing education courses for both Williamsport Area Community College and Penn State,” the news release said. “She has served her community by sitting on various boards over the years, including the Private Industry Council, the Lycoming County Board of View, the Transitional Living Center, the Woodlands Bank Community Advisory Board, Habitat for Humanity, and the Lycoming Housing Development Corporation.This year marks her 50th Anniversary as a Real Estate Broker.
