Hope Enterprises recognized by state program with ‘tier’ status

2 min read

Hope Enterprises recently announced it has achieved Select Tier status through the Pennsylvania Office of Developmental Programs' (ODP) Performance-Based Contracting (PBC) Provider Tier system, recognizing the organization as one of the Commonwealth's highest-performing providers of residential services for people with intellectual disabilities and autism.

According to a news release, the ODP Provider Tier system evaluates residential providers on key measures of quality, workforce development, compliance, and person-centered outcomes. Providers are recognized in one of three performance levels:

• Primary Tier - Providers that meet all required standards and contractual expectations.

• Select Tier - Providers that demonstrate enhanced performance, strong quality outcomes, workforce excellence, and the ability to deliver multiple residential service models.

• Clinically Enhanced Tier - Providers that meet the highest level of performance while delivering specialized clinical supports for individuals with complex behavioral and medical needs.

"Only a small percentage of residential providers across Pennsylvania achieve the elevated Select or Clinically Enhanced designations," the news release said.

For HOPE, this recognition reflects an unwavering commitment to excellence and the dedicated professionals who make high-quality, person-centered supports possible every day.

"Achieving Select Tier status is a reflection of the dedication, compassion, and professionalism of our entire team," said Suzanne Glisan, chief operating officer of HOPE. "Every day, our staff works tirelessly to ensure the people we support have opportunities to live meaningful, independent, and fulfilling lives. This designation demonstrates Hope's ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, exceptional service delivery, and the highest standards of care while ensuring individuals receive personalized supports that respect their choices, dignity, and aspirations."

"Hope Enterprises, Inc. provides a broad range of services throughout central Pennsylvania, including residential, supported living, Lifesharing, employment, case management, and community-based supports. The organization's mission is to enhance the lives of people with disABILITIES by promoting independence, inclusion, and opportunities to thrive within their communities."
