Supreme Court rejects suit challenging East Palestine settlement

(The Center Square) – The U.S. Supreme Court has refused to hear a challenge of the $600 million settlement with Norfolk Southern Railroad and victims of toxic train derailment in East Palestine more than three years ago. The high court let stand the ruling by the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in November, rejecting a challenge of the settlement.
