St. John Neumann holds annual Noble Knights walk-a-thon
Students of St. John Neumann Regional Academy and their families recently kicked off another year with a walk-a-thon.
The Noble Knights walk is an annual event, held at the beginning of school, for the past few years.
At many Neumann events, the Neumann faculty and staff promote the academy’s Noble Knights program.
“The school’s Noble Knights program has many beneficial facets for our student body. It includes the importance of kindness, bullying prevention, positive behavior programs, as well as restorative discipline, all based on the school’s Catholic faith,” according to the academy. “This will build strong morals and values into the student body, from Pre-k through senior year of high school, while also meeting the social and emotional needs of the society in which our students are living and growing.”
This program embodies the academy and what goes on at events like the Neumann Knights walk. Students walked around the high school building on Penn Street and participated in games and activities on the lawn most of the afternoon. It’s all about building the family-like atmosphere that can be felt at both campuses of Neumann.
There are many events like the Neumann Knights walk throughout the school year that are meant to promote the program and promote “Neumann pride.”
