Montoursville Area High School Students of the Month

October

Montoursville Area High School recognized their Octobers students of the month. Allura Musto and Connor Imbro are the Warrensville Lions Club Students of the Month, and Ruby Muse and Aidan Connor are the Montoursville Lions Club Students of the Month.

Allura Musto, daughter of Chris and Becky Musto, has been involved with Key club, secretary; National Honor Society; student government; National English Honor Society; Mu Alpha Theta, Math Honor Society; Rho Kappa, Social Studies Honor Society and yearbook. Allura has also volunteered with Harvest of Hope and helped host a drive of items for cancer patients. After high school, Allura plans to attend college with a double major of forensic science and criminology.

Connor Imbro, son of Charles and Kelly Imbro, has been involved in journalism; Key club and student government. Connor holds the position as treasurer in Future Business Leaders of America; as well as Rho Kappa, Social Studies Honor Society. He is also part of the school’s golf and basketball teams. Through Key club, he has been part of many volunteer activities, such as the Memorial Garden cleanup, book drives and working with Children’s Miracle Network. After high school, Connor plans to receive a bachelor’s degree in finance.

Ruby Muse, daughter of Julia Muse and Dale Brion, has been involved in National Honor Society; National Spanish Honor Society; National Science Honor Society; Spanish club, president; Key club, treasurer and distinguished Key clubber; Medical Careers, Co-op at Geisinger; National English Honor Society; Rho Kappa, Social Studies Honor Society; Mu Alpha Theta, Math Honor Society; student government, prom and homecoming committees; Marksman club; marching band; track statistician and Gender-Sexuality Alliance. Outside of school, Ruby has been involved with competitive target archery. Ruby was crowned Second Runner Up at the 80th Pa. State Laurel Festival in Wellsboro. She is a member of St. Paul-Calvary United Methodist Church and actively employed at UPMC as a food service host. Ruby has helped with several volunteer activities through Key club. After high school, Ruby plans to pursue a bachelor’s degrees in nursing with the goal of becoming a nurse anesthetist.

Aidan Connor, son of Dr. Denise Clark and Gene Clark, has been involved with band, choir, Spanish club and Spanish Honor Society. In the community, Aidan is involved with his church and volunteering time with the food bank. After high school, Aidan plans to be on active duty in the Airforce as a Ground Linguist.

Montoursville Area High School recognizes Simon Ramsey and Gabrielle Shearer as the Montoursville Lions Club Students of the Month and Bec Bradley and Drew Seese as the Warrensville Students of the Month for November.

Simon Ramsey, son of Jeremy and Heather Ramsey, is the president of band; student director of Improv Troupe; vice president of physics club; president of Mu Alpha Theta, Math Honor Society and drum major of marching band. Simon is also involved with Constitutional Convention; Model UN; Rho Kappa, Social Studies Honor Society; National Honor Society and Key club. As a member of Key club, Simon has helped with several service projects. After high school, Simon plans to attend college for computer science.

Gabrielle Shearer, daughter of Vince and Jo Ellen Shearer, has been a member of varsity cheerleading; varsity cross country, state and district medalist, captain; track and field and indoor track. Gabby is also a member of National Honor Society; National English Honor Society; National Science Honor Society, vice president; Mu Alpha Theta, Math Honor Society; Rho Kappa, Social Studies Honor Society secretary; National Spanish Honor Society; Key club, editor; Future Business Leaders of America, secretary; Spanish club, vice president; student government; Medical Careers Co-op at Geisinger; prom and homecoming committees. Outside of school, Gabrielle volunteers in the nursery at Montoursville Presbyterian Church. After high school, she plans to attend college to obtain a bachelor’s degree in biology with the intention of attending medical school.

Bec Bradley, child of Mike and Rachel Bradley, is involved in Key club, editor; Rho Kappa, Social Studies Honor Society; Gender Sexuality Alliance, officer; National Honor Society; Arrowhead staff, MAHS school paper; theater club and academic decathlon. Bec has been involved with many service projects through Key club, National Honor Society and Rho Kappa. After high school, Bec plans to attend college for psychology or journalism to obtain a job as a mental health counselor or a journalist.

Drew Seese, daughter of Andrew and Kristy Seese, is a member of student government, Rho Kappa, Social Studies Honor Society; Mu Alpha Theta, Math Honor Society; National Honor Society and Key club, past treasurer, current secretary. Drew is also involved in her church and several Key club service projects. After high school, she plans to attend college to study criminal justice or criminology.
