Montoursville Area High School February Students of the Month
Montoursville Area High School recognized their February students of the month. Zachary Smith and Lydia Earnest are the Warrensville Lions Club Students of the Month, and Marco Pulizzi and Emma Eck are the Montoursville Lions Club Students of the Month.
Zachary Smith, son of Drew and Katherine Smith, is involved in Academic Decathlon; Mock Trial; marching band; jazz band; ‘Ville Harmonics; improv; theatre arts club, vice president; international thespian society, vice president; concert band; and choir. Zachary is also a MASD Student Representative. After high school, he would like to become a naval nuclear engineer.
Lydia Earnest, daughter of Tina and Chad Earnest, is involved in Key club, senior representative; National English Honor Society; National Art Honor Society, secretary; Mu Alpha Theta; Quill and Scroll Honor Society; yearbook, editor-in-chief; Arrowhead, editor-in-chief; National Honor Society; Rho Kappa; and varsity soccer. Through Key club and the honor societies, Lydia has participated in several community activities and service projects. After high school, Lydia plans to attend Coastal Carolina University to major in psychology.
Marco Pulizzi, son of Bobby and Kristen Pulizzi, is involved in Key club; baseball; football; Future Farmers of America, Chaplain; ski club; and archery club. He is a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Marco has participated in several Key club service projects and volunteer activities. After high school, Marco plans to attend Millersville University to major in environmental science and play baseball.
Emma Eck, daughter of Dustin and Kristina Eck, is involved in National English Honor Society, president; National Art Honor Society; Quill & Scroll Honor Society; National Honor Society; yearbook; senior Key club representative; homecoming committee; prom committee; student government, vice president; Class of 2023, secretary; and the Medical Careers Co-Op at Geisinger Medical Center. Emma has been involved in several Key club; student government; National Honor Society; and National English Honor Society service projects. After high school, Emma plans to attend a 4-year institution to major in nursing. Someday, she would like to be a pediatric nurse.
