Benjamin Manning, son of Scott and Jennifer Manning, is South Williamsport Area High School’s February senior of the month. Ben is actively involved in the Renaissance team, Mini THON club and National Honor Society. He has also volunteered his time to help out with officiating and coaching elementary and junior basketball leagues. Ben has played soccer and basketball all four years of high school and served as the team captain for both in 2021 and 2022. He has received numerous awards in both sports over the years as well. Ben was also a part of Wreaths Across America in 2021 and 2022 in which he helped to carry and place wreaths on the gravestones of veterans to honor their service. In Ben’s free time, he enjoys playing sports, disc golf, card games with friends, and just spending time with his family and friends. After graduation, Ben plans to attend either Penn State University or University of Delaware to major in biology, as he wants to pursue a career working with animals. Awesome job, Ben.
