Chase Beck, son of Kristin and Gregory Beck, is South Williamsport Area High School’s March Senior of the Month.

Chase is actively involved in numerous school activities including: Key Club, Mini THON, Renaissance Team, National Honor Society, football, baseball, and is a student in the Homeland Security program through the Career and Technical Education program at Williamsport Area School District.

Chase holds many leadership positions within these clubs and activities. He is a captain on both the football and baseball teams this year, was the treasurer of Key Club for 10th and 11th grade and is now the president, served as the co-chair for Mini THON this year, and is the treasurer for his senior class. Chase also spends a lot of time volunteering. He works Bingo every Sunday night at the South Williamsport Fire Department. He also helped to plant trees near the baseball field for Key Club, and he has not only helped work the school’s blood drive for the past two years, but he has also donated both years as well.

In Chase’s free time, he enjoys fishing with his friends, biking, and playing sports. Chase has enlisted in the Navy for nuclear engineering and will begin that journey after graduation in June. Great job Chase, and we wish you the best of luck in all of your future endeavors.
