Each month Warrior Run High School honors senior students as students of the month. For the month of May, Audrey Marie Shipman, Outstanding Senior; Gavin Robert Hormell. Turbotville Lions Club Student of the Month; and Trent David Balzer, Watsontown Lions Club Student of the Month have been chosen to be acknowledged.

Audrey Marie Shipman, the daughter of Michael and Sarah Shipman, is a member of the student council, Spanish club, Nation Honor Society and is part of Environmental Education Leadership for Students. She has earned distinguished honor roll throughout all four years of high school and was a Flaming Foliage representative. She also earned her advanced scuba certification. She is currently employed at Jersey Mike’s Subs. In her free time, she enjoys theater, makeup and scuba diving. In the future, she hopes to pursue a degree in marine science at Florida Gulf Coast University.

Gavin Robert Hormell, the son of Ben Hormell and Aimee Noviello, is a member of the soccer team, National Honor Society and student council. He has achieved honor roll and a varsity letter in soccer. In his free time, he enjoys playing musical instruments and spending time with friends. In the future, he hopes to major in computer science to eventually work in user experience design.

Trent David Balzer, son of David and Melania Balzer, is a member of the baseball team at Warrior Run High School. He hopes to attend RIT to pursue mechanical engineering and later get a job in that field.
