Loyalsock Township High School names September, October students of the month

Jossian Emerson Lilley, son of Ian and Maria Lilley, has been nominated by the English department as the September Student of the Month. Jossian has been on High Honor Roll or Honor Roll every semester in high school to date and currently has a 4.0 GPA. He has participated in Model UN. Additionally, Jossian was one of 72,000 students from across the country, who earned academic honors from College Board’s National Recognition Programs. The National Recognition Programs honor the strong academic achievements of underrepresented students. Jossian received a National Indigenous Award through this program. Outside of school, Jossian is a member of The Uptown Music Collective, where he is a first-chair guitarist and vocalist and a member of the schools leadership committee. He enjoys listening to music, going to concerts, writing music and hanging out with his friends and little brother. After graduation, Jossian plans to attend four-year liberal arts collect to major in music.

Molly Clune, daughter of Shannon and John Clune, has been nominated by the science department as the October Student of the Month. Molly has been on High Honor Roll every semester in high school to date and currently has a 4.0 GPA. She is the vice president of the Eco-Act club and a member of the Interact club. Molly has also been a member of the girls volleyball team for three years. She volunteers at both Middle Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association and The Stream Team through ALLARM. Molly enjoys hiking, listening to music, kayaking and baking. After high school, Molly plans to attend a four-year college for environmental science.
