Montoursville School District September Students of the Month
Montoursville recently recognized their September Students of the Month. Marissa Hartland and Sean Ravert are the Warrensville Lions Club Students of the Month. Riley Nelson and Nate Fisher are the Montoursville Lions Club Students of the Month.
Marissa Hartland, daughter of Tammie Hartland, is the vice president of the senior class, Lieutenant Governor of Division 7 of the Key Club, president of the student government and a member of National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Rho Kappa, National Art Honor Society, Yearbook staff, Spanish Club and she plays soccer and softball. She is also involved with Young Life, a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and volunteers with numerous community service projects. After graduation, Hartland plans to attend college to become a physician assistant.
Sean Ravert, son of John and Susan Ravert, plays varsity soccer and is a member of National Honor Society. He also plays drum in the praise band at Faith United Methodist Church. After graduation, Ravert plans to attend the Pennsylvania College of Technology to study automotive mechanics.
Riley Nelson, daughter of Pamela and Jeremiah Nelson, is the editor-in-chief of the Arrowhead, treasurer of the senior class, National Honor Society, Spanish club, astronomy club and student government. She is also a member of Key Club, homecoming committee, National English Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, ski club, Spanish Honor Society, Academic Decathlon, Science National Honor Society, Rho Kappa and physics club. She also participates in the color guard, tennis and track and field. After graduation, Nelson plans to attend a university to major in mathematics and physics, with a secondary education certification, and a minor in Spanish.
Nate Fisher, sone of Gregg and Tia Fisher, is a member of National Honor Society, Rho Kappa and Future Farmers of America. He also part of the football and track and field teams. After graduation, Fisher plans to get an apprenticeship and enter the workforce.
