Fire department donates $1K to high school drama club

The Muncy Township Volunteer Fire Department presents a check for $1,000 to the Hughesville High School Drama Club on Saturday night after the club’s performance of “One Stoplight Town,” at the high school. The fire department also donated the lumber for the sets of the club’s production. The fire department’s support of the drama club is their way of saying thanks to the students that turn out to volunteer at the Pennsdale Haunted Barn. “We couldn’t have done it without them,” said Kim Croucher, of the Muncy Township Fire Department. The students provide their own makeup, costumes for the spooky characters they portray at the barn. “They made everything run seamlessly,” Croucher added. The Muncy Township Fire Department is always looking for volunteers. “There is a place for everyone,” Croucher said.

Starting at $2.99/week.
