Warrior Run High School selects four students to honor each month as students of the month. For the month of October, Sienna Lin Dunkleberger, Outstanding Senior; Madeline Grace Stoudt, Turbotville Lions Club Student of the Month; Peyton Ann Ranck, Watsontown Lions Club Student of the Month; and Cole Richard Shupp, Milton Rotary Club Vocational Student of the Month are being acknowledged for their work in and out of the classroom.
Sienna Lin Dunkleberger, daughter of Robert and Nina Dunkleberger, is a member of the National Honor Society, varsity cross country and basketball teams and the track and field team. She has earned distinguished honor roll as well as varsity letters in cross country, basketball and track. In 2020, Sienna was a PIAA District IV team champion, PIAA Class AA state team champion, and PIAA District IV individual state qualifer in 2022, all as part of the girls cross country team. For basketball, Sienna has earned Division III PHAC All Defensive Team and Best Defensive Player awards. In addition, she has earned the Standard Journal Athlete of the Week award, Teacher's Choice Mic-Drop Award and the National and Small Town Recognition Program Award. In her free time, she is involved in her church's youth group at Community Mennonite Fellowship, volunteers for United Way and likes to go hiking, swimming, kayaking and traveling. She is currently employed as a brand associate at Old Navy. Though she is undecided about what college she wants to attend, she is planning to persue a bachelor's degree in psychology and possibly obtain a doctorate.
Madeline Grace Stoudt, the daughter of Joe and Mandy Stoudt, is a member of Youth in Philanthropy, Defender Pride, drama club, concert choir, National Honor Society and is the president of the crochet club. She has earned distinguished honor roll during her high school career. In her free time, she attends the Zion Lutheran Church youth group and enjoys to read, bake and crochet. She hopes to attend a college or university to study speech language pathology, with the intent to work in a hospital setting.
Peyton Ann Ranck, the daughter of Casey Ranck and Andrea Hoban, is a member of student council and the National Honor Society. She has earned distinguished honor roll, as well as championships as part of the district and state cross country teams. Peyton enjoys going on runs in her free time. In the future, Peyton plans to attend Indiana University of Pennsylvania to study nursing.
Cole Richard Shupp, the son of Stephen and Courtney Shupp, is the vice president of Future Farmers of America, a member of TSA and the wrestling team. He has been a PIAA state qualifer. In his free time, Cole enjoys hunting, fishing and hanging out with his friends. In the future, he hopes to be a welding inspector after completing welding and fabricating engineering studies at Pennsylvania College of Technology.
