Warrior Run November Students of the Month

Each month, Warrior Run School District selects four students to acknowledge as students of the month. Kelsey Lynn Hoffman, outstanding senior; Isaac Nathan Butler, Turbotville Lions Club student of the month; Hannah May Rabb, Watsontown Lions Club student of the month; and Tyler Aaron Cotner, Milton Rotary Club Vocational student of the month have all been honored for the month of November.

Kelsey Lynn Hoffman, daughter of Scott and Sonia Hoffman, is a member of the student council, defender pride and cross country, basketball and track and field teams. She is also the president of the National Honor Society and the secretary for her class. She has achieved honor roll and has been a district qualifier for cross country and track and field multiple times. She is member of the Watsontown Alliance Youth Group. In the future, she hopes to pursue a nursing degree at Messiah University and work in a medical center.

Isaac Nathan Butler, son of Jason and Erin Butler, is a three-year member of the choir and member of the wrestling and pole vault teams. He has earned first place in the wrestling team districts, third place in the pole vault districts, second and third place medals at the Bald Eagle Invite, a variety of placements at the Commonwealth University, Lock Haven, League Meet and first in the freshman and sophomore meet. While his future plans are undecided, Isaac still takes time to get involved with his youth group and enjoys working on vehicles, hunting and fishing.

Hannah May Rabb, daughter of Matthew and Trisha Rabb, is a member of the student council, National Honor Society and golf team. She has achieved honor roll, PIAA state champion, two-time PIAA state runner-up, PIAA top 10 finish, is a four-time district champion, US Kids Golf champion and more. In her free time, she has volunteered her time for the Warrior Run Kids Fund with a charity cornhole tournament that raised $8,500 and volunteers at Operation Christmas Child three years in a row. In 2019, she raised close to $10,000 for Geisinger Children’s Hospital. She also enjoys any outdoor activities. Hannah is currently employed at The Fence Drive-In. She plans to attend James Madison University to major in business and play Division 1 golf.

Tyler Aaron Cotner, son of Brian and Tina Cotner, is a member of the Future Farmers of America, TSA and baseball teams. He has achieved honor roll, second place in Agronomy Regional Competition and has earned an FFA Greenhand degree. he is currently employed at Dry Run Dairy. In the future, he will be attending Delaware Valley University to study plant sciences with the hopes of becoming an agronomist.
