Warrior Run December Students of the Month
Each month, the Warrior Run School District selects four students to be acknowledged as students of the month. For December, Alexis Ann Hudson, outstanding senior; Ayden Jay Watson, Turbotville Lions Club Student of the Month; Liana Marie Karen Dion, Watsontown Lions Club Student of the Month; and Simon Ross Ludovico, Milton Rotary Club Vocational Student of the Month have all been chosen to be acknowledged.
Alexis Ann Hudson, the daughter of Eric and Tracy Hudson, is the treasurer of National Honor Society and her class. She is a member of the student council, Defender Pride and is the historian of DECA. Alexis has earned distinguished honor roll, and was the Winter Classic Basketball Tournament MVP and was a state qualifier for DECA. She is a member of the First Baptist Church of Milton, youth group and AAU basketball. In her free time, Alexis enjoys kayaking, camping and hiking. She plans to attend Grove City College to pursue a business statistics degree and to work in the sports industry.
Ayden Jay Watson, the son Scott and Arin Watson, is a member of the National Honor Society, TSA and the football team. He has earned a varsity letter, honor roll and other academic awards. In his free time, Ayden is involved at his church and enjoys weightlifting and playing video games. He plans to attend Slippery Rock University to major in mechanical engineering.
Liana Marie Karen Dion, the daughter of Beau and Misty Dion, is a member of the National Honor Society, DECA, Defender Pride and the softball and basketball teams. She is involved with the Diamond Defenders travel softball team. Liana has earned varsity letters in softball since her freshman year as well as varsity letters in basketball since her sophomore year. In her junior year, Liana was the softball team captain and has been the team captain for the travel softball team for three years. Liana is currently employed as a sales associate at Shoe Dept. In her free time, she enjoys painting, drawing, puzzles, pottery, fishing and of course, softball. In the future, she plans to attend Alfred State to major in criminal justice with the hopes of becoming a criminal investigator.
Simon Ross Ludovico, the son of Eric and Rachel Ludovico, is a member of TSA, Future Farmers of America and Friends of the East Broad Top. He has earned second place in the TSA Structural Engineering states team. In his free time, Simon enjoys model railroading, 3D modeling, welding, playing guitar and piano as well as looking at technical drawings for railroad machinery. He is considering attending a trade school to become certified in Tig, Stick and Mig welding processes. He hopes to find a job on a steam locomotive operating railroad.
