Loyalsock Township High School has chosen to acknowledge two students of the month for January and February. Isabella (Izzy) Dadzie, January Student of the Month, and Jessica (Jessi) Frear, February Student of the Month, have been selected to be honored for their work in and out of the classroom.

Isabella (Izzy) Dadzie, daughter of Robin and Ed Dadzie has been nominated by the Physical Education Department as the January Student of the Month. Izzy is a member of the National Honor Society, has been on the high honor roll every semester in high school to date and has a 4.0 GPA. She is an active member of the student council and Spanish Club. Izzy has been a member of the girls’ basketball team all four years of high school and has been team captain for the last two years. She has also participated on the track team all four years of high school. Outside of school, she volunteers at basketball and tennis camps. She enjoys going for walks and hikes, watching college basketball and football and hanging out with her friends. After high school, Izzy plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh to major in psychology.

Jessica (Jessi) Frear, daughter of Angela and Robert Frear has been nominated by the Social Studies Department as the February Student of the Month. Jessi has been on the honor roll every semester of her high school career and currently has a 4.0 GPA. She is a member of the drama club, GSA, Tabletop Club and Jazz Band. Jessi has also served in an officer position for the VEX Robotics Club all four years of high school and is currently the president of the club. She is also a member of the LTHS Marching Band and the percussion section leader. Outside of school, Jessi volunteers as a mentor for the Middle School Robotics team, works sound, lights and slideshows at her church and is a judge for TSA events. She enjoys dancing hip-hop and contemporary ballet and participates in her youth group at church. After high school, Jessi plans to attend Pennsylvania College of Technology to obtain her CNC Machining Certificate.
