Montoursville Area High School recognized their Students of the Month for March. Madison Tawney and Zach McGarvey are the Montoursville Lions Club Students of the Month, and Rieley Brennan and Zavien Allen are the Warrensville Lions Club Students of the Month.

Madison Tawney, daughter of Yvonne Fagnano, is the curator for the National Arts Honor Society and a member of Key Club. Through her church, she is part of the volunteer worship team, a volunteer youth teacher and helps with their charity lemonade stand. After high school, she plans to attend Pennsylvania College of Technology to receive a degree in business and graphic design while continuing to work part-time to build employment experience.

Zach McGarvey, son of Travis and Anne McGarvey, is a treasurer of Rho Kappa and a member of the Academic Decathlon team and physics club. He has also participated in the Mock Constitutional Convention and Model UN. After high school, McGarvey plans to attend York College of Pennsylvania with a major in political science and a minor in geography.

Rieley Brennan, daughter of Aimee and Sean Brennan, is the president of the theatre arts club, and a member of Key Club, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, student government, choir, ‘Ville Harmonic Ensemble, marching band, concert band and is active with the school’s musicals. After high school, Rieley plans to Drexel University for biological science and hopes to have a pre-dentistry minor.

Zavien Allen, son of Tanya Frantz, is president of the band and has participated in marching band, jazz band and concert band. He is also involved in the musical and is part of the football and track and field teams. He participates with the local YouthLife group. After high school, Allen plans to attend Indiana University of Pennsylvania to major in geology and continue his passion for marching band.
