Montoursville FBLA going to state conference
Twenty-five Montoursville Future Business Leaders of America members will be competing at the sate conference in Hershey in April, according to a release. The students, pictured at left, competed at the regional level at Pennsylvania College of Technology. The state conference, held from April 7 to 10, will have 5,500 members, advisers and guests. FBLA provides “innovative leadership development programs to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship.” Those who earned placements at the regional level include: Mason Morrow placed 1st in Accounting I, Catherine Hittle placed 1st in Introduction to Public Speaking, Anna Baylor placed 1st in Job Interview, Jimmy Mussina, Shaw Simpson, and Andrew Trueman placed 1st in Sales Presentation, Ellie Maeulen and Cienna Twigg placed 2nd in Sales Presentation, Karleigh McKenna placed 2nd in Visual Design, Andrew Zhu placed 2nd in Business Calculations, Hannah Means placed 2nd in Human Resource Management, Noah Hepler placed 2nd in Personal Finance, Jack Dietrich placed 2nd in UX Design, Eva Schambacher placed 2nd in Public Speaking, Liliana Fortin placed 2nd in Business Communication, Evelyn Weng placed 3rd in Introduction to Business Communication, Sean Frey placed 3rd in Supply Chain Management, Analiese Crossen placed 4th in Introduction to Financial Math, Todd Crawford placed 4th in Supply Chain Management, Simon Dietrich placed 4th in Introduction to Business Concepts, Paige Boyle placed 5th in Advertising, Rowan Fortin placed 5th in Introduction to Business Communication, Elyse Boyle placed 5th in Introduction to Financial Math and Carlos Tira and Zach Niel placed 5th in Sports and Entertainment Management.
