Montoursville also was fourth out of seven teams in the small-school division.

Melody Rzeszotarski, senior, became the first Montoursville student to medal in all 10 events at state finals. In the scholastic division, she received gold in economics, music and literature; silver in essay, art, interview and speech; and bronze in science, social studies and math. She also received the highest score of any student in the small-school division.
