Several students were recognized at the annual Awards Ceremony during Commencement Week at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina.

Steven White, a resident of Jersey Shore, won the Theatre Award from Fine Arts & Comm, according to a press release.

The award in Theatre is presented to a student achieving artistic and academic excellence while exhibiting outstanding Christian character, the release said.

According to the press release, Bob Jones University provides an outstanding regionally accredited Christian liberal arts education purposely designed to inspire a lifelong pursuit of learning, loving and leading.
