South Williamsport Area High School’s Homecoming festivities took place Friday, Oct. 4, at Rodney K. Morgans Stadium.

The Mounties hosted the Sayre Redskins, defeating them 55-7.

A parade of convertibles took place prior to the game and highlighted the candidates for Homecoming royalty as they entered the stadium.

Sophia Carithers was crowned queen during the halftime ceremony.

Senior Homecoming representatives and their escorts were as follows:

• Kendall Marie Cardone, the daughter of Brian and Megan Cardone, escorted by Evan Bashista, the son of Matt and Christie Bashista

• Sophia Grace Carithers, the daughter of Chris and Michelle Carithers, escorted by her brother, Jack Carithers

• Sidney Ann Ertel, the daughter of Kenny and Shana Ertel, escorted by Owen Trump, son of Mark and Rachael Trump

• Gianna Antoinette Goodman, the daughter of Cory and Katie Goodman, escorted by Dante Cruz, son of AC and Justine Cruz

• Olivia Michael Harvey, the daughter of Michael and Katrina Harvey, escorted by Trace Wertz, son of Timothy and Adrienne Wertz

• Cayman Sophia Ireland, the daughter of Darcy and Megan Ireland, escorted by Zach Mouhssin, the son of Mohamed and Melissa Mouhssin
