Samantha Hauke, daughter of Elwood Hauke and Marie Steele has been nominated by the Science Department as the September Student of the Month. Samantha has been on the High Honor Roll every semester in high school to date and has a 4.0 GPA. She is an active member of the Art Club. Samantha was a member of the girls Volleyball team for 1 year. Outside of school, she enjoys photography, drawing, video game and collecting various items (including CD’s, vinyls, cameras, etc). After high school, Samantha plans to attend Penn College to major in Graphic Design and minor in Photography.

Abigail (Abby) Pietraski, daughter of James and Katherine Pietraski, has been nominated by the Math Department as the October Student of the Month. Abby is a member of National Honor Society and has been on the High Honor Roll every semester of her high school career and currently has a 4.0 GPA. She is a member of Interact Club and is Key Club Treasurer and National Honor Society Secretary. Abby has also been a member of the Track and Field team all four years of high school. Outside of school, Abby volunteers at the James V. Brown Library every week. She enjoys crocheting and hanging out with her friends. After high school, Abby plans to attend college to study Mechanical Engineering.
