A light agenda was on tap as the Montgomery School Board approved staffing and event workers at their recent meeting.

The board gave their blessing to Dan Snyder as a van driver for Mowery Transportation; Whitney Edkin as a part-time cafeteria worker; Sherman Heaster as girl’s varsity wrestling assistant coach at a salary of $2,550; Christopher White as assistant boys junior high basketball coach; Gary Yokum Sr., Richard Williams, Jason Miller and Megan Moser as event workers; and Logan Almeida as volunteer assistant boys junior high basketball coach.

In other news, the district will begin reviewing contractor bids for the new school building project at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18.

The next board meeting will be a re-organizational meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3, followed by a regular board meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 17.
