Peyton Dincher, Sara Myers named students of the month at Jersey Shore

Jersey Shore Senior High School proudly recognizes Sara Elizabeth Myers as the Business and Professional Women’s Student of the Month and Peyton Marie Dincher as the Lion’s Club Student of the Month for February.
The daughter of Curtis and Michele Myers, Sara has been a dedicated student, athlete, and community member throughout her high school career.
A four-year member of the cheerleading team, she has earned her varsity letter for three years and was selected as varsity captain in her senior year. Her outstanding dedication to the sport was recognized with the Coaches Award for the 2023-2024 season.
In addition to cheerleading, Sara has been an active participant in student organizations, including the Yearbook Club, Key Club, Red Cross Club, Student Council, and both the National Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society.
Beyond her school involvement, Sara has devoted her time to serving her community. She has volunteered at the Love Center, packing food boxes for those in need, participated in a local church’s Trunk or Treat event, and worked at Nippenose Valley Village. She also previously worked at the Dairy Shack.

Her leadership and character were recognized when she was selected as the Jersey Shore Flaming Foliage Representative and crowned the 2024 Homecoming Queen.
Academically, she has demonstrated excellence, earning a place on the distinguished honor roll throughout high school.
In her free time, Sara enjoys baking, photography, scrapbooking, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. After graduation, she plans to attend Bloomsburg University to earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing, with aspirations of entering the medical field.
The daughter of Peter and Ann-Marie Dincher of Antes Fort, Peyton has excelled academically, athletically, and in community service throughout her high school career.
A standout athlete, she has been a four-year varsity member of the tennis, and basketball teams, and three-year member of track & field. She has earned numerous accolades, including being a two-time runner-up in district singles for tennis, a district singles champion, a team district champion, and a two-time tennis league champion. In basketball, she has been part of three league championship teams, two district runner-up teams, and achieved the milestone of scoring 1,000 career points.
She has also been named First Team All-State twice and received the Miss PA Basketball Underclassman Award, among many other honors.
Beyond her athletic achievements, Peyton has been an active leader in student organizations. She has served as the vice president of Pep Club in her junior and senior years, treasurer of Student Council as a junior, and co-captain of both the tennis and basketball teams.
She is also a member of the National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), and Student Council.
Peyton is also deeply involved in her community, volunteering at the Love Center, Challenger Baseball, and various church events, including the Saint Luke’s Spaghetti Dinner and Pancake Breakfast. She has also worked at the Miller Center’s basketball score table and spent time dog sitting and babysitting.
In her free time, she enjoys fishing, hunting, biking, lifting, kayaking, and swimming. After graduation, Peyton will continue her academic and athletic career at Le Moyne College on a full-ride basketball scholarship.
