Students of the Month selected at Montoursville High School

Montoursville Area High School recognized their September Students of the Month. Alice Ravert and Quinn Winslow are the Warrensville Lions Club Students of the Month, and Savanna Farley and Gabriel Vanderwall are the Montoursville Lions Club Students of the Month.

Alice Ravert, daughter of John and Susan Ravert, serves as President of Choir, International Thespian Society, Musical Theater Club, and Theater Arts Club. She is Senior Drum Major for the Marching Warrior Band, Treasurer of both Concert Band and Spanish Club, and Secretary for the Class of 2026. Alice is also involved in Jazz Band, National Honor Society, Rho Kappa, varsity tennis, plays and musicals, “‘Ville Harmonic Ensemble, MAHS Bible Club, Student Government, and The Arrowhead. She volunteers as a vocalist and pianist at several local churches and leads the Warrior Pal project through Key Club. Alice plans to attend Temple University to pursue a degree in Music Education with a Vocal Concentration and obtain certification in Theater.

Quinn Winslow, son of Joan and Ed Winslow, has been actively involved in Key Club, National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, and the Soccer Team for four years, serving as captain for three. He also competed in Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field. Quinn has volunteered at the Parish Festival, Fall Festival Parking, Flight 800 Memorial Cleanup, and LAPS. After graduation, Quinn plans to attend a four-year college.

Savanna Farley, daughter of Joe and Katie Farley, has held numerous leadership roles including Historian of Class of 2026. Savanna is the Vice President of Choir, Musical Theatre Club, Theatre Arts Club, and Thespian Honor Society. She is Co-President of Student Government, President of National Honor Society, and Lieutenant Governor for Pennsylvania Division 7 Key Club. Savanna is also involved in Band, Jazz Band, Marching Band, ‘Ville Harmonic Ensemble, the musicals and plays, Spanish Club, Mu Alpha Theta, National English Honor Society, and The Arrowhead as Social Media Editor and Business Manager. She volunteers weekly at Faith United Methodist Church and plans to double major in Music Education and Elementary Education with hopes of becoming an elementary music teacher.

Gabriel Vanderwall, son of Amy and Robert Vanderwall, is a member of the Football and Wrestling teams and serves as Treasurer of Key Club and National Honor Society. He is also involved in the Science National Honor Society, Spanish Club, Physics Club, and Student Government. Gabriel has contributed to many volunteer efforts through Key Club and National Honor Society, including organizing elementary wrestling matches. He plans to attend college and major in Biomedical Engineering.
