Geisinger Muncy pharmacy is open

MUNCY -- Filling a prescription and picking up over-the-counter medicines is now easier with the opening of the new Geisinger Pharmacy at Geisinger Medical Center Muncy, announced a recent press release.

Located inside the hospital, the retail pharmacy allows patients to pick up their prescriptions or over-the-counter medications before heading home from an appointment or procedure. The pharmacy also offers home delivery and curbside pickup.

Geisinger Pharmacy offers prescription discounts and price-matching on medications found at larger retail stores without any membership fees, including over-the-counter drugs, the release said.

The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can be reached by calling 570-308-2420.
