UPMC welcomes Kenia Maldonado Vergara, M.D., and Patrick Roman, M.D., to UPMC Rehabilitation Institute, 700 High St., 5th Floor, Williamsport.
Dr. Kenia Maldonado Vergara earned her medical degree from Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil, Guayaquil, Ecuador. She completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation and a brain injury fellowship at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital, White Plains, New York.
She specializes in brain injury medicine.
Dr. Patrick Roman earned his medical degree from Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, Scranton. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Lehigh Valley Health Network, Allentown, and a fellowship in sports medicine at Northeast Primary Care Sports Medicine, Geisinger, Wilkes-Barre and Scranton.
Roman specializes in non-operative sports medicine.
