EVENING BIRDING
WHERE: Hyner Run State Park and Lake Shore Trail at Little Pine State Park
WHEN: Friday, June 14 at 8 p.m. (Hyner Run) and Saturday, June 15 at 8 p.m. (Little Pine)
NOTES: Join the naturalist for evening birding on one or two days. The program is held at Hyner Run State Park on Friday, June 14 at 8 p.m. and Little Pine State Park on Saturday, June 15 at 8 p.m. Topics will include the different birds that live at Little Pine State Park and how to identify them.
Please brign your own binoculars and other birding gear. All children must be accompanied by an adult in order to participate. The porgram may be modified or canceled in the event of severe weather or new community guidelines.
Those interested in the Friday program should meet at the amphitheater by the pool. Those interested for the Saturday program should meet at the beginning of the Lake Shore Trail at the kiosk at the dam.
CCC Camp S-75

NOTES: Join the park naturalist at Hyner Run State Park to learn about CCC Camp S-129 and the work they did in the 1930s and 1940s int he area. The program will also explore the culture in these camps and how it prepared them to be well-disciplined World War II veterans.
All children must be accompanied by an adult in order to participate. The program may be modified or canceled in the event of sever weather or new community guidelines.
Those interested should meet at the amphiteater by the pool and should bring a lawn chair.

FOREST BATHING
AT WORLD'S END
STATE PARK
WHERE: LT Pavilion at World's End State Park.
WHEN: Sunday, July 21
NOTES: Experience the healing power of nature as we embark on a guided journey through forest bathing with Beth Jones, certified nature and forest therapy guide, of deep green journey. Included will be an introduction to forest bathing, a guided forest bathing practice, connection with nature and relaxation and renewal.
Those interested should bring comfortable clothing and shoes for walking, a water bottle and sunscreen and bug protection.
