LYCOMING AUDUBON: SUGAR VALLEY FOR PURPLE MARTINS

WHERE: Meet at the Williamsport River Walk parking lot by the dam to carpool

WHEN: Satuday, June 8 at 8 a.m.

NOTES: Join the Lycoming Audubon Society to see purple martins at an Amish farm that has set up specific birdhouses for purple martins called condominiums. The program is free and open to the public.

FOREST BATHING AT WORLD’S END STATE PARK

WHERE: LT Pavilion at World’s End State Park.

WHEN: Sunday, July 21

NOTES: Experience the healing power of nature as we embark on a guided journey through forest bathing with Beth Jones, certified nature and forest therapy guide, of deep green journey. Included will be an introduction to forest bathing, a guided forest bathing practice, connection with nature and relaxation and renewal.

Those interested should bring comfortable clothing and shoes for walking, a water bottle and sunscreen and bug protection.
