Outdoors community calendar for week of June 26

HIKE THE NATURE TRAIL

WHERE: Hyner Run State Park

WHEN: Friday, June 28 at 3:30 p.m.

NOTES: Join the naturalist to hike the nature trail at Hyner Run State Park. There will be a discussion about the flora and fauna seen along the trail as well as the history of the area. There will also be a lookinto trail information and etiquette.

All children must be accompanied by an adult in order to participate. The program may be modified or canceled in the event of severe weather or new state or community guidelines.

Those interested should meet at the amphitheater by the pool.

SUMMER'S AMBIENCE

WHERE: Hyner Run State Park and Little Pine State Park

WHEN: Friday, June 28 at 8:15 p.m. (Hyner Run State Park) and Saturday, June 29 at 8:30 p.m. (Little Pine State Park)

NOTES: Join the naturalist for a relaxing evening to hear summer's ambience at Hyner Run State Park. Topics of discussion will center around what is being heard.

This is designed to be an informal program. All children must be accompanied by an adult in order to participate. The program may be modified or canceled in the event of sever weather or new state or community guidelines.

Those interested should meet at the amphitheater by the pool for the Hyner Run program and the boat launch for the Little Pine State Park program. Please bring a lawn chair.

WHERE: Little Pine State Park

WHEN: Saturday, June 29 at 3:30 p.m.

NOTES: Join the naturalist to hike the Buttonball Trail at Little Pine State Park. Some of the flora and fauna, as well as trail etiquette, will be discussed. All children must be accompanied by an adult in order to participate.

The program may be modified or canceled in the event of sever weather or new state or community guidelines.

Those interested should meet at the amphitheater.
