Wellsboro’s Stiner named an all-star in bassmaster fishing
Forty-five of the best high school anglers from across the country have been named to the Bassmaster High School All-State fishing team. Chosen to represent Pennsylvania in the top 45 was Wellsboro’s Colegan Stiner while Mechanicsburg’s Nolan Fernandez and Breezewood’s Andrew Cowan both earned honorable mention honors from Pennsylvania.
From this slate, a panel of judges will select the top 12 Bassmaster All-Americans. This group will be honored on the prestigious 2025 Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Classic in Fort Worth, Texas, on March 21-23.
B.A.S.S. is celebrating its tenth year of the selection of this team, which recognizes the best and brightest high school anglers for their tournament performance, academic achievement, leadership in their communities and involvement in conservation efforts.
“Congratulations! This goes to show your efforts on and off the water do not go unnoticed. I am super excited to share this platform with the best high school anglers in the country,’ said Glen Cale, B.A.S.S.
