AUDUBON EVENT: CHAPTER MEETING
WHERE: Taber Museum at 858 W. Fourth Street in Williamsport
WHEN: Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 6:30 p.m.
NOTES: Join Lycoming Audubon Society for the program “Mid-Atlantic Pelagic Birding: the where, the when and the what” presented by Paul Guris. This program is an introduction to the different pelagic zones and seasons in the Mid_Atlantic region, the birds and other creatures that can be found there and an introduction to just how pelagic trips operate.
The program is free and open to the public. You can also attend virtually with Zoom using the link found at the LAS website: www.lycomingaudubon.org.
STRUCTURAL PRUNING

WHEN: Thursday, March 6 from 10 a.m.-noon
NOTES: Join Cody Kouneski, Bartlett Tree Experts and Rider Park manager Sara Street as they discuss tree biology and lead a hands-on pruning demonstration to structurally improve young trees.

SPRING WREATH MAKING
WHERE: Rider Park
WHEN: Saturday, March 8 from 10 a.m.-noon
NOTES: Join Pete Gstalder to make spring wreath using willow and dogwood. The cost for the event is $15 for materials. Please bring cash the day of the program.

RIDER RATTLER
WHERE: Rider Park
WHEN: Saturday, March 19 at 10 a.m.
NOTES: This event is an 8-mile and 4-mile trail race. To register, go to ultrasignup.com and search for Rider Rattler. Long sleeve T-shirt and a meal for all participants who sign up before March 1.
All participants in the race will receive a meal afterwards and proceeds will be split between Rider Park and Pursue Your Happiniess, a non-profit that helps to organize local trail race events.
